Hello, I'm Lee-Ann, a teacher, the Bilingual Program Coordinator, and the International Exchange Program Facilitator at Yang Mei Senior High School (YMHS). My roles go beyond the titles, weaving into a tapestry of passion, dedication, and a commitment to shaping the minds of the future.

My journey at YMHS started in the classroom, teaching English to bright and eager minds. Little did I know that this was just the beginning of a remarkable adventure. The recognition of my dedication and innovative teaching methods led me to take on the role of Bilingual Program Coordinator. It's been a journey of growth, both for me and the students I have the privilege of guiding.

As the Bilingual Program Coordinator, my goal is to foster language proficiency among students. The bilingual program at YMHS is more than just learning a second language; it's about preparing students for a globalized world. My passion for languages and the belief in the power of effective communication drive the success of the program.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is facilitating the International Exchange Program. I believe in the transformative power of cultural exchange. Through these programs, students not only enhance their language skills but also broaden their perspectives, fostering a global mindset that will serve them well in the future.

Beyond the curriculum, I actively engage with my students. Whether it's delving into books together, participating in jogging clubs, or conquering mountains, I aim to be more than just a teacher. I want to be a mentor, a guide, someone who is present in different aspects of their lives, helping them grow not only academically but holistically.

My life is guided by a simple yet profound purpose – to continually evolve and ascend, both personally and professionally. I believe that by embracing change and growth, I can contribute positively to the lives of those around me. It's this philosophy that shapes my teaching style and interactions with students, creating an environment where learning is a dynamic and enriching experience.
