His extraordinary actions have not only inspired fellow principals but also resonated with school subject teachers across Taiwan.
June 14, 2023 (YMHS) - In a celebration of fashion and sustainability, the renowned YMHS (Yang Mei Senior High School) recently hosted its inaugural eco-fashion show at the school's auditorium. The event, held on June 14, witnessed the participation of 16 candidates from Class 102, each representing selected countries from America, Europe, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region.
It was a day that both Taiwanese and American students will remember for a long time – a day of new experiences, cultural exchange, and above all, friendship. 32 students and 4 teachers together with an associate head from Concord Academy (CA) in Massachusetts, United States visited Yangmei Senior High School last March 13 for a day of learning and exploration. What they found was more than just a new culture – they found new friends.
Amidst chilly and windy weather, a group of 22 American students and 3 teachers from the Center for Global Studies (CGS) in Norwalk, Connecticut, United States of America arrived at Yangmei Senior High School (YMHS) for their two-day visit of culture and language exchange. Despite the harsh weather conditions, the warmth of the school's welcome enveloped the American visitors from the moment they arrived.
With the mission to promote innovative education, adaptive learning, and relevant linkages, Yang Mei Senior High School (YMHS), a public school in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, met with The CTE Bulletin adviser and editorial board for an online meeting through Google Meet, November 12 in preparation for the drafting of a proposal for a webinar project on broadcast journalism.
YMHS forges ties with 2 public high schools in the United States
To inaugurate YMHS commitment to international linkages and strong visibility around the world, the bilingual team has signed an official agreement with Manor Early College High School in Texas, United States and Corner Canyon High School in Utah to conduct virtual and hopefully in-person exchanges in the near future.
