Forever Young

Hello, my name is Young. I am a bilingual teacher at Yang Mei Senior High School, and I'm eager to share my professional journey and passion. My educational background is rooted in Fine Art, where I honed my skills in watercolor and oil painting, along with a deep appreciation for art. This artistic passion extends to my free time, which I often spend sketching and exploring museums for inspiration.

๐ŸŽ“ My distinct teaching experience ๐ŸŽ“

After completing my formal education at National Taiwan Normal University, I embarked on my teaching career as an art teacher in a rural school in Pingxi, New Taipei City. The school is distinct from the normal one, most of the students come from broken families and live in the school except for weekends. This role exposed me to the practical aspects of managing classrooms, handling official documents, and interacting with students of diverse backgrounds. It shaped me into a mature and reliable educator, who is constantly surrounded by curious and eager young minds.

๐Ÿค the amazing encounter๐Ÿค

Pingxi Junior High School's location in a tourist hotspot offers ample opportunities to engage with foreign visitors. I cherish these interactions, as they allow me to not only communicate effectively but also share my artwork and exchange experiences with people from various countries. These encounters have enhanced my language skills, particularly in English. These enjoyable experiences have fueled my passion for English, and I am dedicated to ongoing self-improvement. I actively engage in bilingual training classes and have successfully obtained a bilingual teaching license.

In my own classroom, I create an environment where students feel comfortable speaking English, using innovative methods to kindle their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

As a bilingual teacher, I also extend my expertise to colleagues from diverse fields, helping them adapt to the bilingual mode of instruction. I believe that being a teacher is about more than just disseminating knowledge; it's about molding responsible citizens who excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.

I want to use English to share my stories with my students. I hope it inspires them to find their passions and go after what truly makes them happy.
